On June 6, 2006, the Mayor and Council adopted Tucson Water's six-year financial plan which includes FY 2006 through FY 2011. The plan calls for a 4.6% overall increase in water sales revenues (effective August 07, 2006) and 5% annual increases thereafter through FY 2011.

Revenue and Connection/User Fee Increases: Based on evaluating O&M and CIP needs through the Black & Veatch Financial Model, the Pima County Wastewater Management Department is recommending a series of connection and user fee increases over the next two years. The connection fee rates would be increased by 6% and the user fees by 10% in August of 2006, January 2007, July 2007 and January 2008.
